Jedehdiah Luke “Jed” Kronholm, 27, passed away on September 17, 2010. He was born July 31, 1983 in Springfield, MO to Mary Margaret Kronholm. Jed graduated from Harrah High School in 2002 and went on to achieve his current title as “Executive Chef.” His passion for life was to teach others to succeed in their goals. He was very proud of being Riverwind’s Executive Chef and was also the designer of the Riverwind Casino kitchen, which he called his baby. He loved his Great Dane, Thor and also enjoyed Ice Hockey, soccer, music, NY Yankees, and food. Along with his passion for cooking, he attended OU and wanted to become an Aeronautical Engineer. If you ever had the chance to be loved by Jed, you know that he loved with his whole heart and soul. Everyone he met instantly became his friend, brother or sister. He never had just one love in his life because he loved so many, but if there was one, it was his loving mother, Mary. Jed’s mentor and confidant was his Grandfather (Pop) Richard Kronholm who preceded him in death three years ago. Since Pop’s passing, grandmother (Nan) Margaret Kronholm stepped up to the role. Jed was so proud of his niece and nephew. To Jed, they were like his own children. He made all of us laugh with some of his off the wall conversations. Jed has left a loving family who will miss him more than any words can say.
Survivors include his loving mother, Mary Hanna and step-father, Frank; grandmother, Nan Margaret Kronholm; uncles, Richard Kronholm, Jr. and wife Joy, Steve Kronhom and wife Patty, David Kronholm and wife Rhonda; aunts, Cynthia Duarte and husband Joel, Theresa Long, Kathleen Ford; sister, Jessica Talbott; niece, Amaya Miller; nephew, Asher Talbott; cousins, Justin Kronholm, Joseph and Bianca Gomez; and other extended family from out of state. Jed will always be loved and we will all miss the smile and laughter he brought to all of our lives.
Jedehdiah Luke Kronholm, go with God and Pop. As the great Chef you are, prepare us a meal and we all will sit down with you soon in Heaven. God bless you Son. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, September 23, 2010 at the Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel.
