Dr. Jeffrey Trent McCormick

Dr. Jeffrey Trent McCormick passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 67. Jeffrey was born to Forrest Eugene and Anita Jane (Donovan) McCormick on February 18, 1955 in Vancouver, Washington. Graduating from Enid High School, he went on to attend Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri. His time at Westminster was marked with his involvement as an SAE, studying in Africa, and living in France with his wife post-graduation.

He attended the OU College of Dentistry where he then taught as a professor with distinction while operating his private practice in Oklahoma City. Jeff loved dentistry, but his real passion was his five children and time spent with them at the cabin, out hunting, or at Twin Hills. Jeff's favorite past-time always involved a deck of cards, single malt, a cigar, and good company. His family and friends will always cherish their time spent solving the world's problems in that way with him.

Jeff is survived by his five children, Meghan (Marshall) Flowers, Evan (Kendall) McCormick, Colin (Sidney) McCormick, Lauren McCormick, and Ryan McCormick; his eight grandchildren; and a great number of other dear friends and family.

Jeff was a cherished member of the Redeemer Reformed Church, a memorial service celebrating his life will be held Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 2:00 PM at First Lutheran Church, 1300 N. ROBINSON AVE, Oklahoma City, OK 73103.
