Joan Ruble

Ruble, Joan (Roach), died unexpectedly at home on September 10, 2011. She was born in El Reno,OK. Joan received degrees from Central State College and Oklahoma State University. She was a long-time educator in the Oklahoma City School System and taught at Linwood, Burbank, and Stonegate. She also worked at U.C.O. in the Professional Education Department. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl C. Ruble. She is survived by her daughter and husband Carla and Greg Herman of Highlands Ranch, CO; her brother; James Roach of Guymon, OK; nieces Shirley Bare-Vierra of Vernalis, CA ; Kathy Green of Westlake Village, CA; Peggy Payne of Oklahoma City; Jacque Donovan of North Augusta, SC; and Jeanette Roberts of Guymon, OK. As Joan requested, there will be no funeral services, but a family memorial service at a later date.
