John Fulton Reese Jr.

John Fulton Reese, Jr., 75 ascended the stairway to Heaven on January 3, 2023. He was born on February 4, 1947 to Ruth Turpin in Oklahoma City, OK. He attended NW Classen High School and Central State University. He married the love of his life Marilyn Kay Gibson on April 2, 1967. John was drafted into the U.S. Army the fall of '67 and served as a cook in Alaska during the Vietnam War.

John was an avid music and TV lover. His favorites being the Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Saturday Night Live, and Monty Python to name a few. He also loved his Lord and Savior. He was an active member of Sunnylane Family Church.

He is survived by his daughters, Robin Vaughn and husband Chuck of OKC; Melody James and husband Ronnie of MWC; Misty Hill and husband Keenan of Choctaw. Papa to Candice White, Zack James and wife Megan, Kayla Vaughn, Taylor Reese, Cody James, Laycee James, Shelby James, Tiffany Reese and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was greeted at Heaven's gate by his wife Marilyn, his daughter Marsha, his brother Roger, his grandma and grandpa Turpin, and his mother Ruth.

We would like to thank the staff at Homestead of Del City for caring for Dad the last several years. We would also like to thank Emerald Care South and Emerald Hospice for caring for Dad in his final days.

Visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 8, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Bill Eisenhour NE Funeral Home on NE 23rd Street. Please join us for a walk down Abbey Road Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Sunnylane Family Church.
