

loving family by his side. Services have been entrusted to the care of Advantage
Funeral Service and a service celebrating his life will be held on August 14, 2020 at
11am at Trinity Church of the Nazarene at 7301 S. Walker in S. OKC. Public
visitation will be held on Thursday from 12-7pm at Advantage Funeral Service at
7720 S. Penn in OKC.
Juan was born on August 16, 1944 in San Carlos, Chihuahua, Mexico to Juan Del
Moral and Lucia Hernandez. In the early 1960’s he relocated to Rocky Ford, CO
where he worked in agriculture. Soon after he met Josephine Burciago and they
were married on March 8, 1968 and went on to raise six children together. In
1969, the family moved to OKC and Juan was employed for several years at the
Oklahoma Paper Mill and the Santa Fe Railroad. In 1975, Juan accepted a position
as a toner maker at the Xerox plant in OKC. He spent 25 years at Xerox in 2000.
Juan’s family and his faith were the two most important things in his life.
Following his retirement, Juan was a stay at home grandfather who assisted in
raising three of his grandchildren. He was an incredible father and grandfather
who helped his son coach his grandkids t-ball team. Juan was a man of great faith.
He pastored Sendero De La Cruz, as well as several other churches in the OKC
metro area. He loved to preach and teach and he established a Christian music
group with his sons. After retiring from the ministry, Juan and Josephine joined
Trinity Church of the Nazarene in 2007.
Juan was a loyal husband, a dedicated father, a proud grandfather, a caring
brother, and a trusted friend. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.
Juan was preceded in death by his parents, two children: Guadalupe and Robert
Del Moral; and several siblings. He is survived by his wife of five decades
Josephine Del Moral; five children: Juan Del Moral and wife Irene, Margarito Del
Moral, John Del Moral Sr and wife Sharonda, Lucia Luna and husband Juan C. Luna
Sr, and Diana Pena and husband Anthony Baker. Juan is also survived by 26
grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren; as well
as numerous nieces, nephews, and other beloved family members.
