Kathleen Phillips, 85, of Midwest City, OK passed away Thursday, 6/19/14. She was born 4/24/29 in Charleston, WV to Ezra and Lura Cooper. Kathleen was retired from Tinker AFB and her passions were serving the Lord and playing the piano. She played for her Church, combining her love for playing with worshiping her Lord. Kathleen loved her family and the joys of her life were spending time with her granddaughter Lizie and her animals. She was a beloved Mom, Grandma, Mamaw and Nana and leaves behind a legacy of love to her family. Kathleen is survived by her daughter, Cathy R. Burdine and husband Dennis; son, Michael Elmore; granddaughters, Carly Elmore, Elizabeth Burdine, Josephine Elmore, and her dog Bella, who was her constant companion. The family will receive friends Sunday, 6/22/14 from 2-4 p.m. at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Monday, 6/23/14 at Rose Hill Community Church in Tulsa, OK with burial immediately following at Rose Hill Memorial Park also in Tulsa.
