Linda was born on September 5, 1950 to Raymond & Vesta Overstreet. She grew up in South Oklahoma City with her four brothers; Robert, Johnny, Stanley and Ray.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Frank Barbee; her three children, Randy Barbee, LaDonna & husband Brian Pinkston, Ronnie & wife Rebecca Barbee; six grandchildren, Ariel, Jessica & husband Kevin, Emilee, Thomas, Tyler; and her soon-to-arrive great-grandson, Jack.
Linda was a devoted wife, mother, and friend. Her family was her greatest passion, and she was incredibly proud of the children she and Frank raised. She was equally proud of her grandchildren and loved to brag on them just as much as she loved to tease them.
Linda loved working in her flower beds and vegetable garden. Her back yard was breathtakingly beautiful with a variety of vibrant colors. She was a gifted seamstress known for her beautiful handiwork. Linda made elaborate cowboy shirts, teddy bears, quilts and countless other creations that will be cherished for years to come. She enjoyed water aerobics and making her rounds treasure hunting at local thrift stores, and especially cherished the many friendships she built along the way.
Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing Linda is at peace, surrounded by the beauty of heaven. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
Linda will be laid to rest at Sunny Lane Cemetery, Del City, OK on July 22nd, 2025.
