Louella M. Anderson

Luella Mae Anderson, 92, went to be with Jesus on June 14, 2023, in McLoud, OK. She was born in Sparks, OK. On July 16, 1930. She attended Lydia Grade School and Sparks High School. She was married to Bill Anderson on July 19, 1947 at her parent’s home by Reverend Aggie James. They celebrated 60 years of marriage in 2007 before Bill went to his home in heaven. They had two children, Marcella (Marcie) and Bill Jr. Luella was a devoted wife and mother, enjoying her home, her flowers and most of all, her family. She worked outside the home for 15 years at General Electric Credit Corporation.

Luella attended Sparks Assembly of God and then Minneha Freewill Baptist Church in McLoud, OK. She loved her Lord Jesus Christ and her family.

She was the family historian, and she loved to send birthday cards to all of her extended family, especially the kids. She was so proud of her family.

Luella was preceded in death by her husband William (Bill) R. Anderson Sr., her parents Charley and Pearl (Sires) Hall, her brother and sister-in-law Charles Earl Hall Sr. and Anita Hall, and sister Fern Webb. She is survived by her daughter, Marcella (Marcie) Brooks and husband Atha Allen Brooks (AI), son Will Anderson Jr.; four grandchildren, Lora Brooks, Keith Brooks and wife Kim, Corina Anderson and Lola Lydia Meal; four great-grandchildren, Melanie, Ashlee, Taylor, and Riley; and special nieces and nephews, loving cousins, and wonderful friends.

A visitation for Louella will be held Friday, June 16, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Service-South Chapel, 7720 South Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73159. A graveside service will occur Saturday, June 17, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at White Dove Cemetery, 348524 E 970 Rd, Sparks, OK 74986.
