Loutricia Ann (Wilson) Camp was born March 23, 1942 to parents Clarence Avis and Eva Francis (Howell) Wilson in Newport, Washington. At a young age she moved and was raised in Nebraska where she completed elementary and high school. Following graduation, she decided to venture away from the nest and moved away to start college at Bartlesville Wesleyan in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Once she completed college, she moved to Dallas, Texas where she spent the majority of her life until 2015, when she decided to move to Oklahoma City.
Loutricia was a woman of many talents, but she would want to be remembered as someone who taught her son how to be giving to others, and to remember to include everyone. A perfect day for Loutricia would be spending time with her son, Mike Camp or spending the day at a Gospel music festival. She loved to listen to Gospel Quartet music, but what she loved more than that was her son, her family and God. She was a proud member of Richardson Church of the Nazarene in Richardson, Texas.
Loutricia was preceded in death by her parents Clarence Avis and Eva Francis Wilson, her sister, Velma Dobesh and brother-in-law Bernard Dobesh of Grand Island, Nebraska, and one nephew.
She is survived by her son Mike Camp of Edmond, Oklahoma, two nieces, and fur babies Duke and Daisy.
A very special thanks to Mike Camp for being Loutricia’s caretaker in her time of need.
A memorial service will be held for Loutricia Ann Camp, Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home.
