Marayette Ward Kelly

Marayette married David Kelly on December 1, 1989. The couple shared 33 years together, full of adventures raising their two daughters, Caitlin and Shea. She strove to be a good example of a strong woman to her girls, showing them that they could do and become anything. She rose to the rank of Vice President of Canyon Creek and had a decades-long career at SEI over the course of her career, additionally managing to explore her creative passions. Marayette was also a proud member of the Majority Rainbow.

While she was ambitious, she also knew how to appreciate the little things. Spa days were a must and she’d never pass up a chance to cuddle her grandbaby.

Marayette is survived by her husband David Kelly; her daughters Caitlin Kelly, of Denton, Texas, Shea Kelly, husband Ryan Smith, of Sanger, Texas; sister Valerie Mays, husband Scott Mayes, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; granddaughter Willow Danley; five nieces and one nephew; as well as her sweet fur-baby Millie.

In addition, the Kelly family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Valerie Mayes and Rachal Deffner for their dedicated care of Marayette.
