Maria Barbara Luna

Maria Barbara Luna age 91 from Munich, Germany peacefully and gently journeyed to heaven on November 7, 2016. The only child of Konrad and Maria (Keller) Winklemann was born May 11, 1925. Surviving World War II she ventured to America in July of 1948 as the mail order bride of Pedro Luna. She is survived by her daughter Ingrid May, son Peter Luna and wife Angie; grandchildren Rebecca Stormont and husband Ryan, Michael Luna, Monica Luna; great grandchildren; Madilynn Luna and Kieran Stormont. She was an active alert, intelligent wife, mother and Oma. She enjoyed interior decorating, gardening, sewing, needlepoint, knitting, baking, reading and working crosswords puzzles. Visitation will be Friday, November 11, 2016 from 4-8 p.m. Guardian West Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Bethany First Church Chapel in the Round followed by burial at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
