

Marilyn Jean Love was born to parents E. D. and Lucille Ruth (Dull) Schwartz on August 23, 1952 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. While growing up in Oklahoma, she completed elementary and high school, graduating from Piedmont High school. After high school Marilyn attended Draughon’s School of Business and graduated with a Diploma in Stenography.
She soon met and fell in love with John Love. While dating, John decided it was time to pop the big question and soon after, they tied the knot on January 5, 1980, when Marilyn was twenty-eight years old. During their marriage, they decided to start a family and had one son whom they both adored with all their hearts. To Marilyn her most significant accomplishment was becoming a loving wife but most of all becoming the best mother she could be to her son, Robert Arthur Love.
A perfect day for Marilyn would be spending her day in a field of flowers or listening to music, she loved to listen to Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton, and Reba McEntire. If she was not in a field of flowers, she was watching The Carol Burnett Show.
In any spare time that she had, she tried to make the most of it, spending time with her family and friends. She was such a loving, kind and nurturing person, she will be missed by the church, her friends but most of all her son.
Though Marilyn has passed, she will be remembered through the cherish memories and the love she has shared with those near and dear to her heart.
She was preceded in death by the love of her life John Love, and her parents E. D. and Lucille Schwartz.
Marilyn was survived by her son, Robert Love and wife Christina Love, of Tuttle, Oklahoma, and their children Nicole Love, Rachel Love, Michael Love, Jessica Love and Christian Love, her brother Eddie Schwartz of Madill, Oklahoma and his children Terry Schwartz, Ethan Schwartz, Nathan Schwartz, and Olivia Schwartz, and sister Hollie Weger and husband Stephen Weger of Kansas City, Missouri and their kids Skyler Elise Jackson, Kylie Jo Whetstone, Preston Patrick Kirbie, and Lilly Rose Weger.
A Celebration of Life for Marilyn will be held Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 8701 NW Expressway, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73162.
