Marlin was a long time resident of Midwest City. He was a barber all his life. Marlin joined the military at a very young age. Marlin loved to help those less fortunate than himself even though he had little himself, living simply.
Marlin also used to be a horse trainer out of Choctaw, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Caner Osborne and is survived by his mother Bonnie Wills, age 104 who lives in his home state that he loved and missed so much, Tennessee; his brother, Dexter Osborne of California; his only daughter and 1st born, Angela Brown and son-in-law Curtis Brown of Omaha, NE; his son, Todd Osborne of Texas; Angela’s two children, his grandchildren whom he was so proud of Brandon Schwartz and Sabra Schwartz both of San Diego, CA. Marlin had many friends that he spoke of often. Marlin was a Christian man and is with his Lord singing as he so often did and playing his guitar that he loved. He is no longer in pain, no longer is he stressed with what the next day will hold. He was suffering from heart disease and lost his battle Saturday while cooking as he so often did and loved to do. Canning and making homemade things was something he also enjoyed along with his wood carvings, and his story telling. He was a man of many talents. We were all blessed to have him in our lives and will be greatly missed. A visitation will be held at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23rd St., Oklahoma City, OK, 73141 from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, March 2, 2017.
