Missy accomplished many extraordinary things in life, she held a bachelor’s of science and then went on to earn a Masters at OU. She had a particular love for her job because she got to give the quality of life back to our veterans as a prosthetic practitioner with the VA hospital.
Missy was a unique woman; she was smart, she was kind, she was educated, she was loving, and she was generous. Missy was always ready to help and she showed loved to all, it didn’t matter who it was. She especially loved her kids, even if they weren’t hers. After her diagnosis she said, “I don’t get to have another puppy”, which speaks to the type of person she was.
When Missy wasn’t watching Big Bang Theory, she spent her time hiking, camping, making art-work, and learning new things. She loved Marvel hero’s, comic books, and even held a black belt in martial arts. Her favorite quote was, “I never mastered Euclidean Geometry”, a small nod to her love of education.
Missy, you will be loved and missed by all who knew and loved you.
A memorial service will be held for Missy at the Stafford Air and Space Museum located at 3000 Logan Rd, Weatherford, OK 73096 on June 15, 2024 at 10:30 am.
