

She was born in Lexington, Oklahoma, and was the daughter of Mabel and G.L. Grant. Mildred graduated from Geary High School. She was employed at Tinker Air Force Base and worked as an executive secretary.
Mildred was a member of S.W Church of Christ in Oklahoma City. She enjoyed reading and being with her family. Mildred will be remembered for her kindness to everyone, for being very caring and thoughtful. Everyone who knew her loved her. Most of all she will be remembered as a shining example of a Christian and the life she lead.
She is preceded in death by her husband, James Jones and son, Steven Jones. Mildred is survived by her daughter, Beverly Jasuta of Arizona; son, Dale Jones of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Jason Jones of Texas, Wendy Thompson of Arizona, Cary Blankenship of Tennessee, Lance Sundolm of Oklahoma City; and 7 great grandkids.
A visitation will be held from 3-5 pm on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at Advantage Funeral Home, 7720 S. Pennsylvania Ave Oklahoma City, OK 73159. A funeral service will be held on September 9, 2024 at 2:00 pm at S.W Church of Christ, 3031 S.W 104th Street Oklahoma City, OK 73159, with internment at Resthaven Memory Garden in Oklahoma City to follow.
