Mildred Martha Wheeler, 86, died Sunday, July 13, 2014 at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 19th at 10:00am at Living Hope Community Church with the Rev. Robert Hall officiating. Burial will be at Rose Hill Burial Park in Oklahoma City on Tuesday, July 22nd at 11:00am.
Mrs. Wheeler was a former Intensive Cardio-Vascular Nurse with the Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Wheeler.
Survivors include her son, Jim Wheeler of Jacksonville, North Carolina; sister, Nadine Goeckeler of Raytown, MO; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th fl., New York, NY 10001.
