

Miriam R. Greenberg, 77, passed away in the early morning on June 4th. She was born on June 21, 1935, in St. Louis, Missouri to Sam and Anna Rader. Miriam grew up in St. Louis and graduated from University City High School. She attended the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. Miriam met her husband, Maynard, in Miami Beach, FL, and they were married on August 21, 1955.
Miriam Greenberg was very involved in various Oklahoma City civic and charitable organizations including serving as President of Hadassah, Women's Fundraising Chairman of the Oklahoma City Jewish Federation, on the Board of Directors of Allied Arts, on the Board of Directors of the Oklahoma Symphony Orchestra, on the Board of the Directors and Fundraising Chairman for the Daily Living Center Also, she was active in the Mummers Theatre.
She was an avid reader and gardener who also enjoyed traveling, cooking, sewing and museums. Miriam took great joy from playing bridge with her husband, Maynard, and cards with her friends.
She is survived by: her husband, Maynard Greenberg; daughter, Sherri Greenberg and her husband, Cary Ferchill; son, Ken Greenberg; grandchildren, Jordan Ferchill, Price Ferchill and Natalie Greenberg; brother, Irving Rader; nieces: Lynne Koeppel, Janet Rader and Karen Gelfand; nephews: Paul Rader, Ted Greenberg and Doug Hirsch.
Donations can be made in memory of Miriam Greenberg to Temple B'nai Israel.
The funeral will be at 12:00 Noon on Friday, June 7, at Temple B'nai Israel at 4901 North Pennsylvania.
