

Neva was born September 14, 1931, in Nashville, KS to George Elisha Rose and Ada Marie Rose. She grew up on her family’s farm in Cunningham, KS, and enjoyed working in the wheat fields with her daddy. She graduated from Cunningham High School in 1949.
She married Floyd William White in 1951 and they had three children: Dennis, Kerry, and Candace. As an Air Force family for 20 years, they lived in several places including France and Japan before settling in Del City, OK in 1966. They were divorced in 1972.
In 1984, Neva married Billy Charles Fox. They spent 22 years happily married before Billy passed away in 2006. They enjoyed spending time with their family, playing with grandchildren, gardening together, and feeding the squirrels and birds who lived in their yard.
Throughout her life, Neva enjoyed many activities. She grew beautiful flowers as well as delicious strawberries and tomatoes, enjoyed quilting every week with her friends at the Brand Senior Center in Moore, embroidery, and always found the perfect gifts and treats while shopping with her family. She was very proud of her family and loved spending time together whether it was a simple picnic, flying kites on Easter, or pausing from her work to enjoy a Pepsi break she brought joy and fun to every gathering. She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church and recently Life.Church.
Neva was preceded in death by her parents George Elisha Rose and Ada Marie Rose, and her husband Billy Charles Fox. She is survived by her sister Norma Jean Golden; her children and their spouses Dennis and Sherry White, Kerry and Rebecca White, Candace and Dennis Kendrick; her grandchildren Jeremy White, Matthew Kendrick, Sean White, Jonathan White, Taylor Ketron, and Hayley Bansal; as well as her thirteen great-grandchildren and her loyal King Charles companion, Buddy.
A visitation for Neva will be held Friday, July 21, 2023, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will occur Saturday, July 22, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Eastland Hills Baptist Church, 3000 S Hiwassee Rd, Choctaw, OK 73020. A burial will occur Monday, July 24, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Maud Cemetery, Cunningham, KS 67035.
