Norma Pierce

Norma Pierce was born on Sept. 16, 1922 and called to be with her Heavenly Father on Dec. 7, 2012. She attended school at Central High School and worked for First National Bank in OKC. Norma married Archie Pierce, Sr. in March of 1942. She stopped working and stayed at home to raise her 2 kids until the passing of her husband in 1963, she then returned to work for First National Bank. Norma leaves behind son, Archie Pierce, Jr. and wife Suzie; daughter, Sissy McAllister and husband Danny; grandson, Danny McAllister II and wife Karen; granddaughter Lisa McAllister and 3 great grandchildren, Cassidie, Joshua & Isaiah McAllister. She loved her family with all of her heart. She enjoyed many years of family vacations and especially loved Colorado. She said that the grandkids were just like her own and she took pleasure in watching them play their sports. Anytime she was with family it was a good day to her. Many people loved her and she will be missed by all. We, as a family, have been very blessed to have a Christian mother, grandmother, & great grandmother. Norma loved the Lord and would always tell of how He provided for her. She would want those who don’t know the Lord to be prepared and not miss this opportunity. This is a time of celebration, because she is with her Lord & Savior. Visitation will be held Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012 from noon to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2012 at Guardian West Funeral Home at 10:00 am with interment to follow to Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
