Patricia Ann Abbott

Patricia Ann Abbott, of Jones, Oklahoma, was born on September 29, 1945, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Jerome Williams and Dora Maxine Whisenhunt. She entered eternal rest on December 23, 2025. Patricia graduated from Jones High School in 1963. One year later, she married the love of her life, Roger Deveaux Abbott, beginning a devoted marriage that spanned more than six decades. In her younger years, Patricia enjoyed singing in the choir at Jones Assembly of God Church, where she remained a faithful and lifelong member. Patricia found her greatest joy in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved gardening, fishing, and making memories at their home on Lake Eufaula. She dedicated over 30 years of service as an administrative assistant and secretary for Jones Public Schools. Patricia also worked as a typesetter for the Oklahoma County newspaper and, following her retirement, continued serving her community through her work with the Oklahoma County Election Board. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Jerome Williams and Dora Maxine Whisenhunt, and her brother, Timothy Williams.She is survived by her beloved husband, Roger Deveaux Abbott of Jones, Oklahoma; her daughter, Shelly Lawson (Scott) of Harrah, Oklahoma; her son, Steven Abbott (LaDonna) of Jones, Oklahoma; her sister, Kay Cothran (Larry) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Nathan Lawson, Tehran Lawson, Alyssa Snyder, Tyler Abbott, and Ryan Abbott; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Maci Lawson, Reed Lawson, and Emerson Snyder.

A visitation will be held at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, located at 8805 NE 23rd Street, Oklahoma City, OK, 73141, on December 27, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

The funeral service will take place at Jones Assembly of God Church, 957 SW 5th St, Jones, OK, 73049, on December 29, 2025, starting at 10:00 am.

Burial will follow at Jones IOOF Cemetery, N Hiwassee Rd, Jones, OK, 73049, on December 29, 2025.
