Patrick Anthony Testerman, 61, of McLoud passed peacefully from this life on April 22, 2019 with his loving family by his side. Services have been entrusted to the care of Advantage Funeral Service and a service celebrating Pat’s life will be held at 1pm on Sunday, April 28, 2019 at the Advantage Funeral Home Chapel at 7720 S. Pennsylvania.
Patrick Testerman was born on Nov. 29, 1957 in OKC to Wayne and Dorothy Testerman. He was raised in Bethel Acres where he graduated from Beth Acres High School. Following graduation, Pat enlisted in the US Air Force. He served in Japan, Wichita Falls, TX, and Minot, ND before retiring as a Staff Sergeant. After his honorable discharge, Pat accepted a position as fuel specialist at Tinker Air Force Base. In the early 1990’s he retired from TAFB. Soon after he went to work as a utility maintenance worker for EMBARK, the city’s public transportation system. In 2017, Pat retired from the city following a cancer diagnosis. He also married the love of his life, Pam Enoch, whom he had been together with since their meeting in 2008. Pat and Pam loved doing life together and his children agree that meeting Pam was the best decision he ever made. Pam agrees.
Pat was a man who enjoyed life. He was as kind as he was stubborn and as ornery as he was helpful. Pat was a skilled poet and he enjoyed writing poem for Pam. He loved working out, fishing, working on cars, and supporting his Packer and OSU football teams. He also enjoyed landscaping his yard and watching old Dean Martin movies with Pam. Music was an important part of his life and he enjoyed listening to his favorite singer/song-writer Kris Kristofferson.
He went out of his way to bring a smile to the faces of those around him. Pat was never happier than when he was spending time with his family. He was sarcastic, strong, and fiercely protective of those he loved. Pat put up a remarkable fight against his cancer diagnosis because he had so much to live for and much more that he wanted to do. He packed more great memories into his short 61 years than most could pack into 100 years. He was a dedicated husband, a loving father, a caring brother, a proud grandpa, a loyal employee, and a trusted friend. He will truly be missed by all who knew him.
Pat was preceded in death by his parents Wayne and Dorothy Testerman and a sister Theresa Testerman. He is survived by his wife and best-friend Pam Enoch; 2 children: Michelle Madrigal and spouse Jared and Patrick Testerman and spouse Todd Evans; three grandchildren: Braden Woods, Kyle Woods, Austin Woods; four siblings:Wayne Testerman, Janice Meiers, Janet Testerman, and Mike Testerman and wife Zorina.
