Paul Jefferson Davis III

His father, a Lt Cmdr in the USNR was away at the time and was notified by a telegram simply saying “the package has been delivered”. Paul moved with his parents many times during his fathers Naval career, growing up in places such as Key West, FL, Norfolk, VA, Tallahassee, Fl, Chinqoteague, VA, and Easton, MD.

Later during his fathers post war career as an Engineer, they moved to Huntsville, AL and it was there he met the love of his life, his wife Ingeborg to whom was married from 1959 until her death in June of 2019. Paul was a graduate of Oklahoma City University and retired from over 40 years of employment at OG&E, most of those spent as a Senior Buyer. He and Inge lived and loved and raised their family in Oklahoma City for over 60 years.

Paul received wonderful, loving care in his last year from his family and the ladies and gentlemen from Laura Lynns Home Care. The family expresses their deepest thanks to Integris Hospice and to Laura Lynns for the superb care given to their father and grandfather.

Paul was a fabulous Dad and Grandfather with a sterling wit and much wisdom to share. He will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know and love him.

Paul is preceded in death by his wife Ingeborg, and daughter Deborah. He is survived by his children, Lisa Allred (Stan), Lori Frymire and Jennifer Damon (Travis) and grandchildren, Jeff Long (Brooke), Chris Thornton (Maggy), Shane Thornton, Ryan Thornton, Casi Ackerson (Corey), Kassandra Damon and 7 great grandchildren.
