Perry attended Edmond Public School and at a young age, he answered his nations call and joined the U.S. Marine Corp. He proudly served his country in the Vietnam War. After separation from the military, Perry started driving a truck for US Express Company, which took him all over the country. He was a proud member of the VFW/American Legion and particularly enjoyed passing our toys during Christmas time with them. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, and travelling.
In 2017, Perry married the love of his life, Jovy, in the Philippines, and they spent the last 7 years traveling the world together. She will always remember him as a loving husband, supporter, and travel companion.
Perry is survived by his wife, Jovy Overcash; daughter, Alicia; sisters, Barbara and Carol; and 3 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Delphia.
Services for Perry will be at 11 am, Tuesday, August 20, 2024 at Ft. Sill National Cemetery located at 2648 NE Jake Dunn Rd, Elgin, OK 73538.
