

Reece was born in Casper, WY on January 24th, 2003. He was the son of Deborah J. Ford, MSW, DJ Hairston, and Bobbie Lopez. Reece lived in Casper WY, Portland OR, Denver CO, Sterling CO, Wray CO, and finally in Tuttle OK. He attended school in Wray CO and Casper WY. He graduated from Roosevelt High School on May 27th, 2021, and moved to Oklahoma that summer.
Reece enjoyed many sports, his favorites being baseball and golf. He was a member of the 2016 CYB 13-year-old City Championship Team. He enjoyed going out with his friends from work to drive golf balls at Topgolf. Recently he began attending services at the Church of the Nazarene.
Reece’s dream job was to become a salesman for a solar energy company. His path to reaching that dream included working at UPS, Topgolf, Marcos Pizza, On Que, and Fowler Volkswagen. Reece valued his Fowler family, the mentorship of Chas Grady and Chris Squires. Through their guidance he quickly became a top salesman, leading his team in sales in July.
Reece is preceded in death by his mother, Deborah J Ford, MSW, Muriel Ford, Frank Montgomery, Gabriel Sidwell, and additional family members.
He is survived by DJ Hairston, Bobbie Lopez, his grandmother Edna Burt, his brothers and sisters, Krystee Sidwell, Mary Martin, Jeremy Parke, Jane Keister, Donald Lopez, Sarah Lopez, Casandra Lopez, Michael Sosa, and Makaylee Cooper. Reece grew to adulthood with his nieces and nephews as a brother to Martena Lopez, Autumn Keister, Elisea Lopez, Payton Lopez, Thatcher Parke, Andrea Parke, and Lily Lopez. His aunts Evelyn Hairston and Jaunita Taylor, and numerous cousins.
Reece had a charismatic personality and countless friends, amongst those but certainly not limited to his lifelong friends, Adien Carpenter, Jordan Doyle, Savino Melendez, Miles Petro, Willym Duclo, Ryan Mills, Kylen Sills, Taylor Mosby, Kage Brady, and Des Wade.
His family will be holding a Celebration of his tragically short life on August 26th, 2023, from 6:30 to 8:30 for those that would like to remember him through shared stories, pictures, and food. It will be held at his home, 615 Wildwood Dr, Tuttle OK. Please bring a chair and join us we would love to hear your Reece memories.
