Reid Daffer passed away peacefully in the early hours of August 20th, 2023. Born on October 29, 1953 in Evansville, Indiana; Reid spent his youth in Oklahoma City and attended high school at Wentworth Military Academy in Lexington, Missouri. He followed his father-in-law into the reproductions industry, eventually founding his own company, Reidprographics, in 1983 after working for Triangle A&E and Benham.
Reid had a passion for helping others and was very involved in his church. Through his years at church he wore many hats, serving as an elder and a Stephen Minister. One of his favorite outreach programs was working with the Refuge Fellowship Church in Oklahoma City. He not only worked hard, but played hard. One of his favorite ways to unwind was over a round of golf. He also had a love for movies, and was always quick with one liners.
Reid is survived by his wife Susan of 50 years; his children: Landi and partner Tony, Rob and wife Katie, Tamara and husband Steve; his grandchildren: Sadie, Rodney, Jennell, Ronan, Samuel, Remy, Rex, Gwen, Agatha; and his great-grandchild Aidan.
He will be remembered for his devotion to his family and friends, for his wry and sarcastic sense of humor, and for his passion for golf. As an alternative to flowers, charitable donations can be made to the FCSP Foundation or a church of your choosing.
Celebration of Life will take place at 2:00 pm, Saturday, August 26, 2023 at New Covenant Christian Church 12000 N. Rockwell Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73162.
