Rhodora Olila Ziara

Rhodora Olila Ziara of Choctaw, Oklahoma, passed away on July 15, 2024. She was born in Cebu, Philippines, on March 21, 1970, to parents David Charles Parent and Wilma Olila Parent. She moved to Oklahoma in 1983 from Cebu, Philippines. Rhodora married the love of her life, Michael Ziara, on November 13, 2001. She attended the University of Maryland, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance.

Her favorite music was anything 80’s and Duran-Duran. A perfect day would be a sunny day spent with family and friends. Something that would always make them laugh is cute animal vibes.

She taught others patience, kindness, and how to have a pure and beautiful heart. Most people would remember her as someone who treated others as if they were family, and kindness goes a long way in any situation. Rhodora loved traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Rhodora is survived by her husband Michael Ziara of Salisbury, Maryland, now living in Choctaw, Oklahoma; parents David Charles Parent and Wilma Olila Parent; siblings Terry Ursal of San Remigio, Philippines; Crisol Ursal of San Remigio, Philippines; Kevin Parent of Guthrie, Oklahoma; Michael Parent of Midwest City, Oklahoma; Victoria Kapalac of San Remigio, Philippines; Analord Ursal of San Remigio, Philippines; and Nomay Ursal of San Remigio, Philippines; and 4 nieces and 5 nephews.
