Richard was born March 14, 1929, in Black Oak AR. He was raised by Tobe Bunch and Mary Fletcher.
He enlisted in the US Air Force in 1948 and retired after 26 years of service in 1974 in Oklahoma City.
Richard preformed several functions during his career in the service taking him all over the continental US as well as abroad.
His interests included family, painting, restoring antique electronics and vintage cars.
Richard married Ruth L. Bunch of Moro, AR in 1950.
Richard is survived by his wife Ruth, 3 sons, William, Thomas, and Rick. Also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Monday January 22 at 2pm at Advantage Funeral Services Chapel, 7720 South Pennsylvania Ave Oklahoma City, OK 73159.
Burial will follow at Resthaven Funeral Home 500 SW 104 St Oklahoma City, Ok.
A viewing will begin on Sunday, January 21st at 10am to 8pm at Advantage Chapel location.
