

Robert Winston Dickey was born in Oklahoma City on November 12, 1941. Robert Winston Dickey, Age 83, passed away on July 7, 2025, passing peacefully in his sleep at his home. Bob was raised in Oklahoma City and graduated from Putnam City High School. After high school he attended Utah State College of Business. Bob later returned back to his hometown of Oklahoma City where he worked as a home builder’s Superintendent as well as a Quality Control Analyst with Lucent Technologies from which he retired. Bob also invested in real estate and never had a tenant that did not become a friend. In fact, when it was time to sell his properties Bob and Mindy made sure that each tenant had a chance to purchase the home, which 5 of his tenants were able to purchase the home from Bob and still live in these properties today.
Bob married Melinda Denham on November 12, 2006. Yes, on November 12th his birthday. Mindy set the date of their wedding on his birthday so that he would never be able to forget an anniversary.
Bob was a Christian. He never met a stranger. He loved everyone and had a huge heart for all animals but especially his cat “Bobcat”. Bob loved cars, collecting die-cast cars, cleaning cars, anything to do with cars. He had the cleanest cars and garage in town. Most of all he loved Red Cars. His Red Prowler was his pride and joy. The Prowler tag read “1 RED KAT” . Bob loved the outdoors, working and mowing the lawn whether it was at his home with wife Mindy or at the lake house he was always mowing and picking weeds. Everything he touched became immaculate.. even placing him numerous times with "Yard of the Month". He loved boat rides and golf cart rides at the lake with family and friends.
Bob was always the life of the party. He enjoyed making people laugh. Everyone was his friend.. Bob adored his friends Kevin Monds, Wayne Joe, Jimmie and Sandee Flenner and Brad Isenhagen.

Bob had 3 nieces and 6 nephews.
Bob would want everyone to remember the good times, the fun and laughter that he shared with each and everyone of you. Bob was definitely one of a kind. The Legendary Bob Dickey! Fly High and Keep those angels laughing.
A visitation for Robert will be held Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM with the funeral service to follow at at 2:00 PM at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper, 6600 Broadway Extension, Oklahoma City, OK 73116. Following the funeral service will be a graveside service at 3:30 PM at Rose Hill Burial Park, 6001 NW Grand Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73118.
