He is preceded in death by his parents, Bob & Glenda Spivey and is survived by his wife Sharron of 24 years; sister, Pamela; sons, Nick and Drew; 15 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
Robert loved to be busy outdoors. He was very good with his hands like building furniture and there was nothing he couldn't do. He just adored his pets; 2 dogs, Lola and Daisy; and 1 cat, Patch.
Robert served 4 years in the Navy stationed in Key West, Florida, Antigua, and Bermuda.
Family was very important to him; he loved his family very deeply and he was strong in his faith. He made an effort to help others find peace during times of loss and crisis.
He will be dearly missed by his family and his memory will be forever honored in their everyday lives.
