Robert “Bob” Thomas, 83, passed away April 10, 2020. He was born in Oklahoma City on August 3, 1937 and attended Northwest Classen High School. Bob led a colorful life pursuing acting in both New York and Los Angeles. He eventually returned to Oklahoma and worked various jobs until finding a calling working in prisoner rehabilitation and addiction counseling. At the age of 63, he completed his Masters in Psychology from the University of Central Oklahoma and eventually worked as a traveling land man researching gas and oil rights. Bob was active in the community and had a wide circle of friends.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Katherine and John and by his son, Robert Earl Thomas. He was survived by his son -James Thomas, daughter in law - Tiffany, and grandchildren Sage, Maile, and Keegan of Trophy Club, Texas. He was also survived by brothers Bill Thomas (Colorado), John Thomas (Colorado), and Mike Thomas (Tennessee) as well as many nieces and nephews.
