Rodney Wayne Cooper, 51 year-old resident of Roswell, New Mexico, passed away August 22, 2013 in Roswell, New Mexico. Born February 8, 1961, he was the son of Leon Frederick Cooper and Ruby Charlie (Williams) Cooper. Rodney grew up in the Spencer area. He was a tree trimmer and landscaper. Rodney was a very active man always on the go and he loved Harley motorcycles. Survivors include 1 son, Mr. & Mrs. Chance Skinner of Pampa, Florida; 2 brothers, Howard D. Cooper and his wife Wanda of Mississippi; and Tommy Cooper and his wife Bones of Roswell, New Mexico; several cousins, T. R. Cooper, III and his wife Jeri Cooper of Newalla, Oklahoma; Linda Drake; Anita Campbell; and Victor Forkenberry. The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to Lupe, Judith, Diana, John and many others who helped make his last few years more comfortable. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Arlington Memory Gardens, 3400 N. Midwest Blvd., Oklahoma City, OK. 73141 with Rev. Greg Ball officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Memory Gardens.
