Ron Todd

Ron was born February 9, 1945, at home six miles east of Perkins, OK. He graduated from Ripley High School.

Ron married Carolyn Koelsch on December 12, 1975 in Tulsa, OK.

After graduation Ron worked as a tile setter's helper in Stillwater for 9 years. He then started his own business, Ron's Tile and Carpet in Cushing, OK where he worked until 1983. Ron and Carolyn moved to Garber, OK, continuing his tile business and assisting Carolyn's father, Ed Novy, in his farming operation. Ron and Carolyn, since 2000, have traveled and sold western wear at various horse shows and events. In 2008 they began selling collegiate wear at OSU football games. Ron enjoyed his OSU cowboys, collecting antique cars and trucks, going to the cabin at Lake Eufaula, fishing for sandbass and his new horse Sadie.

Ron is survived by Carolyn of the home, sons Doug Todd; granddaughters Alex and Olivia Todd, Donny Todd; grandsons Colton and Brody Todd, stepchildren Shawn Koelsch; grandson Mason Koelsch and Amy Brown and husband Craig; grandson Jack Brown and granddaughter Maggie Brown. Sisters, Ladema Todd and Sherry Clemens and husband Jerry Clemens; his nieces and nephews; and the rest of his family and friends.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents, Claud and Eilene Todd; his sister Lodene Chesmore Ball and his brother-in-law Jim Chesmore.
