

Ruth Londagin Hawkins, 70 year-old resident of Gentry, Arkansas, passed away October 28, 2013 in Bentonville, Arkansas. Born March 11, 1943 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, she was the daughter of James and Gertrude Jones. Ruth was a former longtime resident of the Falling Springs/Decatur Arkansas area. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Gentry, Arkansas and was formerly a longtime member of Falling Springs Community Church. Ruth was an excellent cook whose pies and rolls were always among the first to be chosen at fundraisers and church dinners. She was a lady who always put her family first and had spent most of her life farming in the Falling Springs area. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Lloyd Londagin, and her son, Loy Dale Londagin. Survivors include her husband Nathan Don Hawkins of Gentry, Arkansas; 2 daughters, Belinda Londagin Shetlar and her husband Mike of Choctaw, Oklahoma; and Leona Londagin of Gentry, Arkansas; her sister-in-law, Nadean Londagin of Gentry, Arkansas; and a host of other relatives and friends. A visitation will be held Wednesday, October 30, 2013 from 5 pm to 8 pm at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Private graveside services were held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Falling Springs Cemetery, Falling Springs, Arkansas with Dr. Robin Cowin officiating. Burial followed in Falling Springs Cemetery, Falling Springs, Arkansas.
