We still miss Shannon, always will...what a special soul...irreplaceable....thinking of his family today and hoping that the memories of Shannon are bringing you all strength and happiness...one of the best that was taken far too soon.  

Our deepest sympathy on Shannon's loss...we just found out yesterday and we are just in shock....Shannon was such an amazing soul....really just one of the best....our prayers go out to his fiance and children and all those that will him until you are all reunited...we will miss him very much!! I met Shannon in a men’s group at church a few years ago. At the time, I was navigating a change in career from insurance and non profit into healthcare as a Cardiovascular Sonographer. Through my last year of school, Shannon was one of the few people who could smile or send me a text and I would feel at ease. When life moved me to Texas for my 1st ultrasound job, Shannon was happy for me and supported me. We kept in touch via text, phone conversations and a weekly zoom call. He encouraged me and made me laugh and in return, myself and the other guys returned the encouragement and laughter. He tried to teach me some Samoan phrases. He once sent me one of these texts, I plugged it into google and understood it. I wrote my reply in English and asked Google to translate and did a copy and paste to my text message. Instead of the encouraging message I thought I was sending in Samoan, it came out of Google to him in a “romantic” way and I was mortified. But in true Shannon fashion he got a Big Laugh  about it and I told him in English what I was trying to say. Needless to say, that day he also stopped trying to teach me Samoan. But we stayed in touch up until a couple days before he passed. I am moving to KC, Missouri for a new job which was why I didn’t make the funeral. But I know I have Shannon’s support and encouragement with me in the next step of my journey.  He will be truly missed and I pray for his family, friends and all who knew him. I pray they find comfort and peace. Rest In Peace my friend!

Shannon was always so positive and motivating! He could always put a smile on someone’s face no matter what he had to do. He will be immensely missed by everyone that had the pleasure of meeting him! He wasn’t just a co-worker but also a very important friend.

My heart and prayers go out to the family and all of those grieving the loss of Shannon. I see Shannon as the Samoan Encourager. I feel very blessed to have met and worked closely with Shannon. Shannon was a very competitive and hard worker with a great attitude. Shannon was a great mentor, who was ALWAYS there to help teach and guide me to be the best that I can be. Until we meet again 💕

Oh Shannon, the void you left. You have always been the light in a dark room. From Sprint to TBS you continue to uplift and encourage me to be better, do better, and strive for better. I am so blessed to have gotten the opportunity to meet you and truly know you. You are one of the nicest, most caring, and supportive humans I have ever met. Thank you for being the voice that we all need and remaining true to yourself despite any setting you are in. I love and appreciate you always.

Shannon was a great cousin. I will never forget the days and nights playing Call of Duty on Xbox with him. The first few times we got together and got to play together it was like we never missed a day of growing up together. Family always had each others back in those days. I have always had Shannon's back as we have been through alot over the years together. My cousin was taken from this world far too soon. Shannon you will be forever missed.  Love ya cuz. 

Shannon was a loving and caring man, a gentle giant who loved my cousin his fiancé Yakini to the fullest. I will hold you in my heart 💜 and keep her lifted when she’s missing your smile and all the loving things you did to put a smile on her face. You will be greatly missed but the love 💕 we all have for you will live on… REST EASY!!!

Shannon was a good person and friend. We would have a few conversations about the DALLAS COWBOYS because we both are fans... DC4L!!! Shannon always had a smile and a kind word. Praying for his family and friends. Shannon will be missed. R.I.H.

Shannon, what a bright light you were to everyone who met and knew you. Your passion for brightening someone's day, making them laugh, cheering everyone on, we miss you. 

I want to tell the family that Shannon was one of a kind. We will miss him greatly at TBS. We are so so sorry for your loss and we feel it deeply ourselves. Our hearts go out to you. 

I have told many people that Shannon was the most positive person that I’ve ever met.  He would always make me smile and laugh every time I talked to him no matter how I was feeling before the conversation.  The best thing we can do to honor Shannon is to carry on that positive energy because it’s going to take all of us to have a chance of matching what he brought to the world.  He will be deeply missed by myself and my team, but we consider ourselves lucky to have known him!

You will never know how much you impacted my life. You were the biggest support at work and it is not the same without you there. I miss the check in calls and the COI celebrations! I hope you are looking down here on all of us! We miss you like crazy at TBS! 

Thank you Shannon…for being a loyal friend, for being a dedicated colleague…always ready to help, for being a light in our world.  Your positive energy will be missed, but I am sure that with all the goodness you have sown, your light will continue to shine through your family and friends. 

Shannon always had a positive attitude when we worked in the "land of bad things" of Saline County SO but he also could be counted on to watch my back & be there to help out.
I remember we strapped on the SCBA tanks & walked thru the Pods at least one night-fully dressed in super size inmate clothes over our uniforms with SCBA tanks on our backs plus the masks while breathing the oxygen. We considered it training (as far as SCBA) & just for fun with the jail inmate uniforms to alleviate things. 
My deepest sympathies to his family-I know he was a positive force for good things & don't doubt the world is not as warm/bright as it once was.

Shannon was always a bright spot in my day when I would see him in the office, he always had a smile and an uplifting message. When this tragic news broke, it reaffirmed what I already knew, that Shannon is one of those rare people who touches the life of everyone he meets. Our TBS Family will miss is greatly, he was a big presence and one we will not forget.

"I am better for knowing you, better for loving you, better for having met you. May you be as blessed in the next life, my brother aka The big guy, as I was in this one by knowing you."

Worked with him in the Salina County Sheriff's office. He was a man that would have your back. God took a wonderful person. God bless you Shannon. Your friend Mark Trostle.
