Sharron Yvonne Masterson, 70, passed away Jan. 24, 2015 in Chickasha, OK. She was born October 16, 1944 in Oklahoma City, OK to Luther and Freida (Dunn) Plant. She was a graduate of Classen High School. Sharron was a writer, painter, and serial entrepreneur who had many adventures in her lifetime. She was known to many as the owner of Albon's Blacksmith Peppered Hams and the inventor of the Loop-to-Loop toy. She was a dealer in art, antiques and interiors who had a dream of owning an antique store. She would tell her friends that the best years of her life were spent raising her children. The last year was one of her happiest in Chickasha, as the community and friends surrounded her and helped make her dream come true: operating a gallery named after one of her sons: "Barclay Galleries." Sharron is survived by her three sons, Conrad, Bill, and Patrick Masterson and their wives; her brothers, Randy and Ronnie Plant and their families; and nine grandchildren. Services for Sharron will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, January 30 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with interment following at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Oklahoma City. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Sharron’s memory to the American Cancer Society or the Christmas Fund at Shanoan Springs Residence in Chickasha.
