Spencer Mann Phillips 21 years old passed away December 4, 2011. He was born May 11, 1990 to Craig and Lori Phillips. Spencer had more than his share of curiosity and energy, there was not a nook or craney he didn’t explore which usually got him in lots of trouble doing so. He gave us a challenging ride for 21 years, and we wouldn’t change one second of it. He fancied himself a race car driver, in his 5 years of driving he went thru 4 cars, 2 clutches, 2 transmissions, 1 blown engine and numerous dents and replaced parts which didn’t faze him, he just moved on to the next car. He was studying to be a mechanic which he loved. Before graduating high school he was a member of the Sea Cadets for 2 years, he was so proud of himself that he would wear his uniform to school. He had drill once a month plus boot camp in Colorado and leadership training in Roswell, he was also a member of the color guard which he was extremely proud. He made many lifelong friends thru the Sea Cadets that we will cherish. He went to Luther schools from kindergarten thru graduation, he played baseball and little league football. His father myself and Spencer have very close friends from those experiences that will last a lifetime. He had many friends and families from school and the cadets that miss him terribly. If you have any doubts he was deeply loved check out his facebook page, it will endear Spencer to your heart just like he has to his friends and family. We miss him so much, there is a hole in our heart that can never be healed. He was preceded in death by his very best friend Jake Miller, Grandfathers Johnny Hudson and Gary Phillips. He leaves behind his parents, sister Morgan Goade and husband Sean, Grandmothers Jerry Hudson, Pauline Phillips and Greatgrandmother Thelma Barnes and many many cousins, aunts, uncles, friends and his dog and best buddy Moose. Funeral services will be Friday Dec 9, 2011at10:00am at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel with burial at Elmwood Cemetery, Choctaw, OK.
