Stephanie Richards

Stephanie Michelle Richards passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Stephanie was born on January 11, 1986 to Loyd Johnson and Sheila Tanksley and was raised in Columbus, Kansas.

Stephanie's greatest joy in life was being a mother to her son, Alexander ("Xan") and wife to Ryan. They made their home in Oklahoma City, OK with their two crazy dogs, Diesel and Doc. Stephanie was a fiercely protective and loyal wife, mother, and friend. She was selfless, kind, determined, and kept lists upon lists of goals and plans for herself and her family. Stephanie had an infectious laugh, quick wit, and was known for her sense of humor. She could always find the positive traits in any person and find the silver lining in all situations. Stephanie loved the gun range, helping Ryan work on his truck (which usually just consisted of her supervising and making him laugh), exploring and sightseeing with Ryan and Xan, and spending time with her best friends and loved ones.

Stephanie is survived by her husband Ryan, son Alexander, of the home, siblings (Amber Gibson, Kayce Johnson, and Sonny Bock), parents (Loyd Johnson, Sheila and Rodney Bock), and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and loved ones.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the near future for Stephanie’s family and friends.
