Swannie D. Stanczyk, age 91, passed from this life on June 1, 2012 after a brief illness. A long-time resident of Oklahoma City, she spent the last several years as a resident of Stonebrook facility in Denison, TX where she was beloved by all the staff and residents alike. Swannie was a member of the Mayfair Church of Christ, where she taught Sunday school for over 40 years and was active in other of the church’s ministries.
Swannie was preceded in death by William, her loving husband of nearly 35 yrs, her wonderful PaPa, James Mackey, her precious granddaughter, Nancy Crabtree, four sisters and one brother. She is survived by daughters Sandra McMillan and husband, Riley, of Ford City, PA., and Sue Crabtree and husband, Dan, of Denison, TX., grandchildren Susan, Kim, Ryan, Lauri, Valerie, Jamie, Jeff and Jenny, 9 wonderful great grandchildren, her brothers Dale and Finis Mackey, and sister, Aurelia Orr.
Funeral services will be held on Tue, June 5, 2012 at Mayfair Church of Christ, 10am with burial immediately following at Memorial Park Cemetery. The visitation will be at Hahn Cook, Street and Draper Funeral Home on Mon.
