Tania Mavares Arenas

It is with deep sorrow and heartfelt love that we announce the passing of Tania Mavares Arenas, beloved mother, grandmother, mother in law, sister, and friend, who departed this life peacefully on 04/04/2025 at the age of 72 years.

Born on Venezuela in Maracaibo, Tania Mavares Arenas was known for her boundless strength, unwavering determination, and fierce devotion to her family. She spent her life offering encouragement to everyone she met. Whether it was through her home-cooked meals, or her presence, she touched the lives of many in ways that will never be forgotten.

She is survived by her loving son, Elio Garcia, her daughter Tanely Garcia, her grand children Javier Garcia (el tesoro), Maria Garcia, Oriana Marcano and Amanda Marcano, her daughter in law Marile Melean her son in Law Cesar Marcano, her brother Fernando Mavares and countless friends and family members who cherished her deeply.

Her legacy of strength, and grace will live on through the many lives she impacted. Though we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the love she so freely gave.

Services will be held at Advantage Funeral Home on April 10th at 3 pm followed by Holy Services at 5 pm. Friends and loved ones are invited to attend and share memories of a truly remarkable woman.

She was deeply loved and will be forever missed.

Con profundo dolor y amor eterno, la familia informa el fallecimiento de Tania Mavares Arenas, quien partió en paz el 4 de abril de 2025, a los 72 años de edad.

Tania fue una mujer directa, terca cuando se trataba de defender lo que consideraba justo, y determinada en cada paso que dio en la vida. Pero por encima de todo, fue una mujer profundamente leal a su familia, a quien amó con todo su corazón y a quien protegió con valentía y entrega.

Su fuerza de carácter, su firmeza y su amor incondicional marcaron para siempre a quienes tuvieron la dicha de conocerla. Fue el corazón de su hogar y el pilar de su familia.

Le sobreviven sus hijos Elio García y Tanely García; su nuera Marile Melean y su yerno César Marcano; sus nietos Javier García (su tesoro), María García, Oriana Marcano y Amanda Marcano, a quienes amó con ternura y orgullo. También le sobrevive su hermano Fernando Mavares, junto a demás familiares y amigos que hoy la recuerdan con cariño y gratitud.

El legado de Tania vive en cada uno de ellos: en su ejemplo de lucha, en su amor firme, y en los recuerdos compartidos que perdurarán en el tiempo.

La ceremonia de despedida se llevará a cabo en Advantage Funeral Home 7720 S Pennsylvania Ave, Oklahoma City el día Jueves a las 3 el velorio seguido de una misa a las 5. Familiares y amigos están cordialmente invitados a acompañarnos a honrar su vida y compartir memorias de una mujer extraordinaria.

Tania Mavares Arenas fue intensamente amada y será eternamente recordada.
