

W. Mack Doyle, 90, of Oklahoma City passed away Wednesday, Aug. 24, in Oklahoma City. He was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and a World War II veteran, serving the United States Army from 1940 to 1945. Mack was a pioneer in pharmaceutical sales, serving more than 50 years making calls to doctors’ offices and hospitals throughout the state of Oklahoma and the southwest region. He gained much respect by those in the medical field, especially because of the great respect he had for them. A longtime active member of Quail Springs Baptist Church, Mack was a Sunday school teacher, a deacon, an outreach leader, and a disciple-maker. He will be remembered for his faithfulness in daily prayer and Bible reading and his diligence in scripture memory. He is survived by his wife of 45 years Hester, his children Pat and his wife Sandy, Scott, Dedra, Chris and his wife Karen and Jon and his wife Lisa, as well as seven grandchildren. Mack is preceded in death by his first wife, Naomi, who passed away in 1965 and his daughter Sally who passed away in 1997. Visitation will be Monday, Aug. 29, at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 8701 Northwest Expressway, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be Tuesday, Aug. 30, at Quail Springs Baptist Church, 14613 N. May, at 2 p.m.
