Wanda Frances Noble, 100, passed away September 18th, 2025, at home with loved ones. Born October 2nd, 1924 in Tecumseh, Oklahoma, she was one of four siblings born to Benjamin F. and Vesta Crenshaw Dallas.
Wanda was class of ’42 at Lawton High School. A member of the Girls’ Service branch of U.S.O. at Ft. Sill, she danced with a handsome soldier in the Army band. Her romance with Bill, love of her life, led to marriage in 1944. The big band music played on for 76 years.
At a young age Wanda was an accomplished pianist with a lovely voice. Her talents were in high demand. She sang alto to Bill’s tenor in Chancel Choirs at Wesley Methodist and Village Methodist churches.
A loving mother, devoted daughter, and stylish dresser, Wanda was a girl ahead of her time. She created a wonderful home while also caring for her mother and working full-time. She was secretary to the presidents of Liberty National and Union Banks before retiring as Assistant Vice President of Quail Creek Development Company in 1991.
Devoted to God, family and community, Wanda shared her time and talents. She was past president of Wesleyan Women, and since 1994 a member of the EK Chapter of the P.E.O. Sisterhood.
She was an excellent Bridge player whose love of the game led to elegant evenings of dinner, cards, and lasting friendships. Road trips and summers at Lake Eufaula were among her favorite pastimes.

Wanda was predeceased by her husband, Willis L. “Bill” Noble in 2020. She is survived by her daughter Connie, son Jeff, Jim Truss, Yvonne Price, and12 nieces and nephews. Friend, defender and protector, beautiful inside and out, Wanda was a second mom to several throughout her life. Her home and heart were always open. She leaves a legacy of love and a life well-lived.
A visitation for Wanda will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hahn-Cook/Street & Draper, 6600 Broadway Extension, Oklahoma City, OK 73116. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Village United Methodist Church, 2501 W Britton Rd, Oklahoma City, OK 73120. A graveside service will take place at Memorial Park Cemetery immediately following the funeral service, 13400 N Kelley Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73131.
