

William was born May 27, 1951 in Seattle, Washington. He was a proud member of the Blackfeet Indian Tribe. William earned his Associate’s degree and went to work in electrical repairs. He loved tinkering with things, be it building up an engine or fixing things to work again. William was also a fisherman and an avid gun collector. He collected coins and stamps throughout his life. When he was able, William liked to go out hunting for fossils and arrowheads. He especially loved riding 4-wheelers.
William is survived by his son, James and wife Jennifer Monroe; daughter, Tricia G. Lopez; daughter, Melissa and husband Russell Gordon; daughter, Jennifer Annette and husband Ronnie Aldredge; 8 grandchildren; sister, Penny Linn; and sister, Candace Wooten. William was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Sheri Dawn Monroe; brother, Steven Monroe; brother, Robert “Bobby” Monroe; and brother, John Monroe; and infant brother, Thaline Monroe
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Bill Eisenhour Northeast Chapel, 8805 NE 23rd St., Oklahoma City, OK 73141. Military Honors will be rendered by a U.S. Marine Corps Honors Detail. Final resting place will be Ft. Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, OK at a later time.
