Addison was a Senior at Olathe North High School and worked as a Server at Silvercrest at College View. She had a deep love for the outdoors and found her greatest joy surrounded by nature. Addison was actively involved in many outdoor activities, including fishing, four-wheeling, and boating, where her adventurous spirit and infectious laughter were always present. She also had a special love for cars, taking pride in learning about them and appreciating both their power and craftsmanship.
An avid animal lover, Addison was especially devoted to dogs, who seemed to sense her gentle heart just as quickly as she loved them. Wise beyond her years, she was passionate about saving money, always thinking ahead and setting goals for her future with determination and maturity.
Above all, Addison cherished her friends, family, lake friends, brothers, and boyfriend dearly. She built deep, meaningful connections rooted in loyalty, compassion, and joy. Addison was truly a ray of sunshine, whose warmth, kindness, and radiant smile lit up every room she entered. She had a rare gift for making others feel seen, valued, and loved, bringing comfort and happiness to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her light was unmistakable, and though her time with us was far too short, the love she gave so freely will live on forever in the hearts of those she touched.
She was preceded in death by many great grandparents and grandparents, as well as Roger Wainscott (Uncle) and Jason Ludlam (Second Cousin).
Addison is survived by her parents, Nicholas and Jessica Askew; brothers, Jordan and Trent Liles; great grandma, Rose Wainscott; grandma, Tina Simmons; grandpa, Douglas Askew; grandparents, Brian and Cindy Chamberlain; aunt, Monica Simmons; uncles, Mitchell and Colton Askew; uncle and aunt, Marty and Emily Chamberlain; boyfriend, Weston Walls; and many other extended family members, friends, and lake family.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude for the overwhelming outpouring of love, care, prayers, and support shown during this incredibly difficult time. Your kindness, compassion, and help have brought comfort and strength to all of us and will never be forgotten.
