

Alan L. Clegg, 50, Olathe, KS, died peacefully Mar 14, 2012 at his home surrounded by his loving family just the way he wanted. Alan had a long on going battle with congestive heart failure, kidney failure and diabetes. Vistation will be from
9-11 a.m., Saturday, March 17, 2012 at McGilley & Frye Funeral Home- Olathe with Graveside Services following at 11:30 a.m. at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Alan was born April 7, 1961 in Olathe, Kansas to Robert & Shirley Clegg. He graduated in 1978 from Wahlawa High School.
He served our country proudly in the U.S. Army in the Second Armored Division for 6 years. He made rank as Corporal. He resided in Fort Hood, Texas while in the service. Alan married the love of his life, Leeann.
He later worked for 7-11 for 14 yrs., and the City of Olathe for 7 yrs. as a senior maintenance worker for the Sewer Dept. He received many awards with the city, for quality service in waste water .
Mr. Clegg is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, LeeAnn, his loving children, Jason (Kellie) Clegg of Minote Air Force Base; Joshua Clegg of Olathe, KS; granddaughters, Jamia Cullins of Overland Park, KS, Hannah Kay Clegg and Haylie Kay Clegg of Minote North Dakota; brothers, Robert Clegg of Denver, CO and David Clegg of Olathe, Kansas and 3 nieces.
