Charles Lee Stephenson

Charles was born on April 27, 1938 in Akron, Ohio to Pete and Lonnie Stephenson. He attended and graduated from Kenmore High School. After graduation he served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. He worked as an Engineering Maintenance Manager for the State of Kansas.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents Pete Stephenson and Lonnie Jones - Russell and his loving wife Patricia Ann (Kluka) Stephenson. He is survived by his children: Michael Charles Stephenson and his wife Caleene of Shawnee, Kansas, Jeffery Charles Stephenson and his wife Jan of Topeka, Kansas and Charlene Michelle Carlson and her husband Keith of Topeka, Kansas. Left behind to cherish his memory are his eight grandchildren: Michael Stephenson Jr., Kassia Stephenson, Chelsea Stephenson, Taylor Carlson, Kyle Carlson, Kevin Stephenson, Abraham Stephenson and Sara Stephenson. Charles is also survived by his step-mother Velva (Todd) Stephenson, three brothers: Pete Stephenson, Paul Stephenson and Dale Stephenson, two sisters: Wanda Bennett and Cathy Guffey .

Charles will be cremated according to his wishes. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: American Lung Association 6701 West 64th Street #110 Shawnee Mission, Kansas 66202.
