Donald Bruce, 72, of Stilwell, Kansas passed away October 5, 2010. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday October 8, 2010 at McGilley & Frye Funeral Home- Olathe. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday October 9, 2010 at the Bucyrus Methodist Church, 200 4th Ave. Bucyrus, KS 66013 with burial in Aubry Cemetery, Stilwell Kansas. Memorial contributions can be made to the Hospice of Kansas City Palliative Care.
Donald was born March 14, 1938 in Kansas City, Missouri to Francis & Athena (Scruggs) Bruce. He worked as an engineer most of his life. Donald was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He will be missed by all who knew him and will be in our hearts forever.
Mr. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his; four children, Leslie Bruce-Barney, Lisa Bishop, Cherish Bruce, and Jeremiah Bruce; 3 grandchildren, Bruce, Hannah, Seirra and mother Stephaine, 1 great grandson, Colton; cousins, Betty Jane Wilson, Mary Lou Chitwood, and Houston Glass.
