Donna Louise Groszek, a beloved resident of Olathe, Kansas, passed away on November 4, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on March 12, 1958, Donna was cherished by all who knew her for her compassionate, devoted, and generous spirit.
Donna was the daughter of the late Gary Oren Neff and Janice Elaine (Cline) Williams. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph James Groszek, her grandfather and grandmother, John E. Cline and Dorothy G. Cline, and her siblings, John H. Rees and Vickie A. Neff. She is survived by her stepfather, Donald E. Williams, and stepmother, Alice M. Nash. Donna leaves behind a large and loving family, among them Jonathan Rees (Crystal), Adeline Rees, Anna Lindquist (Zach), Brianna Neff, Ender Morgan, Mark Groszek (Pam), Mitch Groszek, Amber Groszek, Luke Demaree, Trisha Demaree, Sara Demaree, Zoe Demaree, Ashley Demaree, Eli Demaree, Joel Monts de Oca, Alicia Ice (Leonard), Justin Cline, Sarah Enstrom (Nate), Chris Cline, Erica Bottom, Renee Schuk, and Kim Ramos.
Donna attended Pomona High School, graduating with the class of 1976, and furthered her education at the University of Redlands. She took immense pride in her home, often hosting holiday gatherings and spending quality time with her family and friends. Donna had a particular fondness for decorating her home during the Christmas season.
Known for her kind-hearted and thoughtful nature, Donna was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She had a passion for antique shopping, enjoying the thrill of discovering hidden treasures.
A celebration of Donna's life will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, November 17, 2025, at McGilley & Frye Funeral Home, located at 105 East Loula Street, Olathe, Kansas. Visitation will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens, 13901 South Black Bob Road, Olathe, Kansas.
