Elizabeth Katherine Campbell, 66, of Olathe, Kansas passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, April 24, 2020 at the Olathe Medical Center. She will forever be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to everyone she met.
Elizabeth was born on October 29, 1953 in Kansas City, Kansas to Richard R. and Helen (Cunningham) Pitnick. She attended and graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School. She married the love of her life, Terry Campbell on September 29, 1971 in Lenexa, Kansas. Together they raised their two sons, William and Michael.
Elizabeth was an avid Chiefs fan. She enjoyed watching KU basketball, bowling and her trips to Vegas. On her twenty fifth wedding anniversary her husband Terry surprised her by taking her on their first cruise to Hawaii. Since then, they both have enjoyed taking nine cruises together.
Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Helen Pitnick. She is survived by her loving husband of forty eight years, Terry Campbell of the home, two sons, William Campbell and his wife Kylene of Bonner Springs, Kansas and Michael Campbell and hIs wife Dawn of Olathe, Kansas. Left behind to cherish her memory are her five grandchildren, Tyler Campbell, Kelsey Campbell, Arianna Campbell, Addyson Campbell and Ashley Brindza. She will be sadly missed by her brothers, David Pitnick and his wife Terri of Kansas City, Missouri, Steve Pitnick and his wife Marilyn of Lawrence, Kansas, Mark Pitnick and his wife Judy of Lenexa, Kansas, Rick Pitnick and his wife Jennifer of the Ozarks and her sister, Mary Ann Pitnick of Basehor, Kansas.
Elizabeth will be cremated according to her wishes. Visitation will be Saturday, May 2nd starting at 12:00 p.m. till 2:00 p.m. at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home 105 East Loula Street Olathe, Kansas.
