Dear Buckner Children and Grandchildren,  I was deeply saddened to hear of your loss.  Esther was a very dear friend of mine, we became fast friends when I moved  in next door to her in Asbury Villas.  My son, Eric and I both loved your Mom, she was always so kind, friendly, caring and lots of fun to spend time with!  We will always remember our special friend. While I never had an opportunity to meet Esther, her daughter, Shawn, is one of our dear co-workers.  Shawn always spoke so lovingly of her mother.  Our hearts go out to Shawn and her family for this sudden and tragic loss.  May God comfort you in your time of grieving.  Ann

Es always had a smile on her face. I know her family will miss her, as will all her many friends. Tre, Shawn, and Darren are in our thoughts and prayers.

Bob and Esther were some of our dearest friends.  We miss our tennis matches we had at the Coffeyville Country Club.  Tracy and our Ann grew up together.  We enjoyed our childrens' activities tennis,  golf, and swimming.  Esther was a joy to be around, always in a good mood. Es-You were a beautiful, amazing, spirited lady with an endless supply of love for your family and those of us who considered you family. You accepted Logan and I as part of your family and showered us with love. We enjoyed every moment we got to spend with you, Bob and the kids. You will be missed by many. Rest in peace beautiful lady.

Aunt Es was such a wonderful person!  I loved being around her.  She was so much fun and I always thought she had a flair for doing things that I admired.  I remember right after she and Uncle Bob moved to Kansas, I was in the car with them and she kept singing "These boots are made for walkin'"  It was popular at the time and I was a teenager so I thought she was pretty cool!  

I am sad that I probably won't be able to be at the service, but you know I love you all and loved your mom.  She was a wonderful aunt and friend.
