He worked for several years on off-shore oil rigs. Upon returning to this area, he joined the Carpenter’s Union, retiring in 2011. In his early days, he was an avid hunter and fisherman. Jerry enjoyed his Hot Rod and Harley Davidson, with the opportunity of going to Sturgis the last several years with his son Alex Loeffler and cousin Louie Moll.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Florein Loeffler. He is survived by his wonderful son, Alex Loeffler of Bonner Springs, Kansas, Blinda of the home, brother Ron Loeffler and his wife Stephanie, nephew Robert and his wife Kim, great nephew Jacob and great niece Arianna, nephew Jeremy, great niece Juliette, great nephew Jace, sister Debbie Damer and her husband John, nephews Samer and Saif Damer along with many cousins and friends.
